Terry Clark

Terry is an Environmental Engineer with over 10 years direct experience in the area of soil and water. He is a Certified Practitioner in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) (Stage 1).

Terry has extensive experience in developing erosion and sediment control plans for residential, resource and linear infrastructure projects, including high risk sites.  In addition he regularly acts as a third party reviewer or certifier of ESC plans prepared by others. The majority of projects (either site or office design based) undertaken by Terry has been throughout Queensland, however he has experience across other states of Australia.

Terry has broad experience within the environmental field having previously worked within both private industry and Government. He has developed an appreciation and detailed understanding of the entire development process from the initial project conception, design and construction phases and subsequent final delivery. In addition, Terry has gained a high level appreciation of the challenges, constraints and impacts associated with application, monitoring, training and compliance with ESC requirements for both clients and contractors.

Terry is currently employed as Technical Services Manager for ESC within O2. As such he is focused on improving awareness within both industry and the wider community regarding the importance of managing ESC. Terry has completed over 100 ESC plans within QLD and NT and has worked on some of the biggest infrastructure and mining projects in the country including CSG for all major proponents and most contractors.

Terry regularly presents ESC training, under license of the author of the IECA Best Practice Manual. Terry has trained over 500 people in QLD and NSW.
